Ughelli Rovers Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Ekete Nyerohwo as the Principal/Head Coach of the club.
Historically, his managerial appointment will etch in the club’s legacies as it’s first-ever football coach. However, Nyerohwo brings a wealth of experience, expertise and a proven track record of success to Ughelli Rovers Football Club.
With an illustrious coaching career spanning several years, he has achieved remarkable milestones, including winning multiple prestigious competitions and cups at the National, State and Grassroots levels of Nigeria football. Notable highlights of his coaching achievements include leading various teams to victory in competitions hosted by esteemed figures such as the former Governor of Delta State, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Hon. Oshevire, and the Oba of Benin.
As the Academy Manager, he will play a pivotal role in managing the pool of talents at all levels in the Club’s growth, ensuring that they are taught and given the very best of modern football basics. Nevertheless, he will also be an integral part of recruiting exceptional players in partnership with internal and external scouts, including the registration of Ughelli Rovers as a professional licensed football club with all the relevant football governing bodies at the Local, State, Regional (South-South), and National (Nigeria Football Federation).
