Ughelli Rovers Football Club has officially resume camp as preparations intensify ahead of the 2026 football season which is set to kick off in January 2026.
The club’s technical crew and management confirmed that all players have reported to camp in good shape as they begin a pre-season schedule.
Ughelli Rovers FC will feature in several key competitions next year, including the Asaba Super Cup, Delta State FA Cup, Federation Cup and the Nationwide League One (NLO). In addition, the team will participate in multiple scouting programs aimed at exposing young talents to national and international opportunities.
As part of their early preparations, Ughelli Rovers will play a friendly match today against Infinity FC Ofuoma at the Ughelli Township Stadium which will kickoff by 3:00pmCoaches say the match will help assess player fitness and team chemistry as they shape the squad for the competitive season ahead.
Fans are encouraged to come out and support the team as the new campaign begins to take form.
